Team Based Grand Narrative Tournament - update 2

For this update we provide a video courtesy of "Admiral Tater". He runs a shop on Etsy and I have used him for custom projects for several years. He does amazing work and will be providing all tokens for the Grand Narrative Tournament.

In the video he shows off the latest prototype. The final version will have various colors, but are otherwise expected to look the same. In the video he explains various reasons for the design and how they work.

During the tournament these tokens will be moved across a large strategic map of the Segmentum Tempestus measuring 3x4 meters. The tokens represent the various fleets and their sizes owned and controlled by each team. As they travel the galaxy they will be pushed across the map and the warp lanes until arriving at solar systems that will be then be fought over.

Combat will occur either when to such fleets meet or when an army fails to take over a planet by use of diplomacy. The rules governing diplomatic conquest are more strict for our interpretation of Crusade rules and forcing a planet to submit to diplomatic coercion will be more difficult.

The next update will hopefully be one to show off the work on the map. I am very much looking forwards to showing off the digital version of the map, when complete, and then later after it has been printed.
