Global Peace Summit

August 28-30th

Painting and other acitivities

We will set up an area near the Kiosk where anyone can come to paint and work on hobby projects. There is also a dressing room where actors do make-up that people can use for painting etc and have a more quiet area to focus.

The social area will also be a cafe for people to relax, read and chat. Anyone and everyone is and are welcome to check out our activities and meet other hobbyists.

We are looking at what other Warhammer related activities we can include.

Missions and layouts

Missions and layouts are decided when players compare their dispositions. Every match will have 3 possible layouts.

Use the app or D3 dice to select either layout A, B or C for you match.

The Games Workshop app is very good for tracking games and missions and layouts. It also has all the measurements.

Meet early at table to decide layout and set up the table.

Rule tips

  • CP: You can only gain a maximum of +1 CP pr battle round

  • "Cover" is now -1 BS rather than -1 AP

  • Stealth Provides "Cover"

  • Infantry, Swarm, Beast that are touching terrain that have not shot this or previous turn become "Hidden".

  • "Hidden" provides both "Cover" and 15" lone op

  • "Hidden" models that are only partially visible behind terrain features taller than 3" gain the modifier "gone to ground" - providing -3 detection.

  • Vehicles, Monsters and Mounted can get cover as in 10th, but they can never get "Hidden" or "Gone to Ground"

  • Detection range can never be shorter than 9" (lone op 12 model that has gone to ground will have the shortest detection range".

  • a model that has both "Hidden" and "Gone to Ground", will have 12" lone op

NOTE: "Hidden" is given regardles of the angle your unit is being attacked from. It doesn`t matter if you model is partially or completely visible. "Gone to ground" depends on the angle your model is being attacked from. You ONLY get "gone to ground" if the line of sight between your model and the attacker is partially blocked by a terrain feature taller than 3"

Pro tip:

Do not worry about learning layouts. Study your disposition match-ups and what you need to do in order to get your primary points. Learn you disposition match-ups and study your layout in terms of your specific primary.

King of the Colosseum

The Colosseum is a unique 500 point format that we have been having a tonne of fun playing on our channel with and for our membership.

Each mission and deployment is exactly the same, but that doesn’t mean each game is! The matches are incredibly challenging to play as each unit risked and potentially lost can make a big impact on the game outcome.

Colosseum set contains the following:

  • 4x Colosseum outer walls.

  • 8x Short Ruins

  • 1x Neoprene Battlefield mat

Rules for King of the Colosseum uses CHAPTER APPROVED and

  • No epic heroes.

  • Must include two units that are infantry and not characters.

  • No units can be toughness 10 or higher. Toughness 9 is the maximum toughness.

  • New for 2026: Rule of One! You can only include one of each unit in your army, except Battleline and Dedicated Transports units which you are allowed two of the same unit. ( For example: You can take two Intercessor Squads in your army as they are Battleline, but would only be allowed one Aggressor Squad as they are under Other Datasheets ).

  • Enhancements are allowed.

  • List Maximum Points is 500.

  • All other standard List building rules for a Warhammer 40,000 Matched Play Game apply.
